What information do we collect?
Compulsory data - We collect your name - to identify you to your profile for previous bookings, future bookings, and important information such as allergies, reactions, medical conditions that are necessary to your hair treatment.
We collect your contact information (Phone number and email address) - this is to send you confirmation and reminders of your appointments, this allows you to review your appointment details and confirm they are correct.
Advised data - We advise that you share any medical conditions that may be necessary to your treatment, this is to allow us to make educated and knowledgeable decisions surrounding products/services which may not be suitable for certain medical conditions, this is mostly surrounding allergies or skin conditions which affect the scalp.
Voluntary data - Date of birth, age range, gender, address, occupation is not required information, we do not personally ask for this and it is not necessary or required to make your booking, however due to our booking service the system allows you to provide this information and is stored on your client profile if it is provided, although this information is not used for any reason.
How do we process your information? Whether you book over the phone or online your information is stored on our booking system, SalonIQ, we only require your name and contact details to reserve your booking but standard settings of SalonIQ allow for a lot more information to be provided, you are able to provide these details and they will be stored on your client profile but will not be used. Only our staff members have access to your profile as well as yourself if you made an online account with SalonIQ to book our services.
When and who do we share your information with? We do not share your information. Your information is stored using a third party booking system, SalonIQ. Other than this company we have no reason to share your information with any person or company without your permission. Your information is available to our staff members at all times but is generally only accessed when you call to make a booking or you have a booking upcoming with that member of staff for them to prepare for your appointment.
How long do we keep your information? Your information is kept for 90 days from your booking unless you delete your account via your SalonIQ account or request us to remove your information if you created your client profile by phone call booking.
What are your privacy rights? We strongly follow the UK law regarding General Data Protection Rights. Which provides you with the rights to; access your data, edit your data and remove your data at any time. This also provides you with the right to not be contacted for any reasons that were not agreed, when you create a booking we will state that confirmation and reminder will be sent to you and this is the only contact you should receive in response from providing us your details. Your information will never be given/sold/used/accessed by a third party person or company when you provide us with your information.
How can you review/update/delete the data we collect from you? You can review/update/delete the data we store on you via your account on SalonIQ if you have made your client profile online.
